About ellen Byrne

Ellen Byrne was raised in Hawaii and lived in many interesting places before settling in Frederick, MD, not far from Washington, DC, Baltimore and Northern Virginia. Her  specialties are fun and informative illustrated maps.

Along with other awards, Ellen Byrne has a National Illustration Gold ADDY from the American Advertising Federation. Her maps and graphics haves been featured in books on The New York Times Best seller list. She has done work for national magazines, corporations, organizations and universities.
 
Ellen is almost always open to commissions, sells prints on Etsy and select boutiques in the Washington, DC area.
